SunTrust turned to IQ to effectively market SunTrust owned real estate properties to prospective buyers, in turn generating broker contact leads. The most important goals included the speed to market for showcasing available property information and the ability to quickly maintain and update content from multiple users with different authoring rights. The project required a database driven design for managing, showcasing, and searching SunTrust bank owned residential and commercial properties.
The primary audience goals of the site included quickly searching for properties, viewing details, and contacting a broker. IQ worked to simplify the initial search process by presenting only the minimum and most often used search requirements by the target audience. These requirements included property type, location, and price range. An emphasis on quick access and commonly searched practices by the audience was implemented by adding an alternate visual map for quick search results based on clicking a single state. Since location was a primary search method, IQ added mapping functionality through MapQuest to plot properties in search results and property detail views.
In order to help prospective buyers consume site content, IQ’s design solution was an infographic visual approach providing scannable and comparable information with large call to actions throughout the site experience.
