ETFs or exchange traded funds are becoming an increasingly important part of the financial landscape and it is imperative to examine all aspects of an ETF that affect it's overall performance.

Creation and Redemption

iGive4iShares

During the 2011 holiday season, iShares wanted to give back while continuing their social media efforts so they partnered with six charities and donated $1,000 to each. To take it one step further, iShares incorporated user votes from social media to determine which charity would win a holiday donation of $10,000! The contest became known as #iGive4iShares on Twitter.
